A second qualification. More than 15 races won along the way.

After competing in Turkey, my FIS results officially placed me within the Olympic qualification standard for PyeongChang 2018.

But qualifying was only the beginning. Two other Iranian female skiers had also reached the Olympic qualification standard, meaning the final spot to represent Iran would be decided through a long series of national selection races.

Across more than 15 selection races, I finished first in every single one—ultimately earning my place to represent Iran at the Winter Olympic Games for the second time.

That entire journey—from training and qualification through the final selection races and on to PyeongChang—was documented in Far From Home, an Olympic Channel documentary following my road to my second Olympic Games.
